Medium Rare TV

We focus on the achievements of women and people of color in the TV and film industries. It is our honor to bring to the public dynamic interviews and review works by directors, actors, writers, and producers who traditionally have been overshadowed and/or overlooked.

Furthermore, Medium Rare believes that the visual arts of TV and film suffer from mediocrity on occasion. As a result we act as a platform for other faces, voices, and viewpoints to be seen and heard as commentary on the state of film and TV both in content and delivery.

Raising a Reader

The Raising A Reader mission is to foster healthy brain development, parent-child bonding and early literacy skills critical for school success by engaging parents in a routine of daily "book cuddling" with their children from birth to age five. This mission addresses a national need for effective early literacy programs. One in three children entering kindergarten lacks basic pre-reading skills, which are proven to be a key factor in determining high-school graduation and lifelong success.
